Parent and baby parking spaces
The car park for my local Waitrose is for customers only, but in reality it's a free-for-all for people who want to go into town and is usually full. As a legit Watirose customer, this really gets on my tits.
Yesterday, I parked in a parent and baby space and felt incredibly guilty for doing so. But should I? I would never park in a disabled space but are parent and baby spaces in any way enforceable? Is it reasonable that those spaces should remain free when the car park is totally full?

They used to be called parent with child when they first came out, and I used to park in them all the time when I was driving my father around. Clearly not the intention, but at no time did they say the child couldn't be the one who was driving?
Forty years on, if I'm not able to get an available parent and toddler space, then the biggest risk is actually to other car park users who will now have our doors rammed into the side of their car as our toddlers attempt a forceful decamp at 100 mph.0 -
