    As far as I can tell it's been in for two  years 6 months and used 9500 total of which 6175 night and the rest day.
    With that ratio, you are likely best looking at a supplier with a low off peak rate.  If you are eastern region, that would be EDF.    However, it varies across the regions. What region are you?

    OK, you've got good effective storage heaters and your nighttime usage is likely to be double your daytime.
    If you want to be with Octopus, and don't fancy taking your chances with a smart tariff, with that split of day and night consumption it's a clear choice for E7 rather than single-rate electricity.
    But you should see what other suppliers offer in terms of E7 rates. Octopus don't often have the cheapest split rates for someone using 2/3rds of their electricity off-peak.
