Pay-per Mile Insurance

Anyone know any reputable pay-per mile car insurance?

RAC decided to stop offering their per mile services out of the blue, and cancelled my policy with no prior warning which has left me in a limbo.

Looking to pay on a monthly basis at the moment, with no convictions or anything other. The only other two I know is By Miles, and Marmalade which is aimed at learners and young drivers. Jurny is unable to offer me anything for some reason.

Thanks

Unless you are doing tiny mileage, is it working out any better for you than just getting regular insurance and paying it off monthly?
  • All you do is go on confused.com put in 1000 miles. The cheapest option is pay per mileage. I did check last month.

RAC Pay by Mile was just a white label of Wrisk who arranged/administered the policy and Highway (originally part of LV and so now part of Allianz) were the insurers for it. If you google you may find others that have white labelled the same setup if you particularly liked this product/company.
  • Been with Bymiles for 5 years now.
    Love them.
This year £104.00 upfront for fully comp, Legal, Hire car, Protected bonus etc.
Then 9.3p a mile, billed each month on the 28th.
With 150 mile per day cap.
I do a 350 mle round trip to family in one day and cost £13.95.
I dont know if it me or my car as all standard quotes were over £1300.

Sounds good, might just check them out. I was paying around 25-29 per month with 7p per mile with same protection as yours, without any upfront fee. ByMiles seems the next best thing, and there doesn't seem to be much choices out their tbh.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
