How to remove this strain from white laminate worktop?

I have a white laminate worktop and it's fine apart from my husband forgets and puts pasta sauce covered utensils on the worktop and leaves them there 🙄 results, yellow stains!
In the past I have managed to get them out but this one won't budge.
I have tried, bleach, baking soda, baking soda and vinegar, fairy liquid. What else might budge this?

Have you tried one of the magic eraser thingies that get scuffs off paint work etc? It gets light scratches out of my matt black worktop but may take the shine off if yours is glossy.1

Bar Keepers Friend in the powder form is good for removing stains, or Dr. Beckhams.1

Unfortunately you might be out of luck and it could be very difficult to remove.Bear in mind a magic sponge is pretty abrasive, even if it did get rid of the mark I wouldn't be surprised if you can see a scrub mark under certain lights. Similar with Bar Keepers Friend, it's both an acid and an abrasive. Whatever you do, don't leave Bar Keepers Friend on for more than 1 minute. If you have a hidden piece of worktop I would be inclined to experiment there first, and use a torch at different angles to check for scrub or shiny marks afterwards.Hydrogen Peroxide and a UV light can turn yellowed plastic white again. Not sure if that would work with yellow pasta stains but it might. It might be a long shot, but if the stains contain any form of grease I have found Dettol Citrus Power Spray to somehow be more effective than washing up liquid and vinegar.

How about some of those pastes,Astonish or Pink stuff0

Anything like this, or generic cream cleanser, might help. But they're all mildly abrasive and may well change the surface finish of the worktop noticeably.koalakoala said:How about some of those pastes,Astonish or Pink stuff0 -
Thank you all for your suggestions. I tried bar keeper's friend and it has worked a treat! Very pleased.1

I only ask because I've recently bought some BKF after hearing for years how good it is, so I'm curious as to how you used it. I got it for a stain on a stainless steel sink and it didn't work in my case!
