I've just tried to setup an account with the Yorkshire BS but have been rejected as I dont have any photo ID.
Are they any building societies that will allow you to setup an account without photo ID ?
Thanks

I can't think of a single account that required my photo.3

Off the top of my head, the only banks that have needed photo ID when I've tried to open an account were Chase and Atom. This is standard practise when applying to Chase and Atom require it in order to use face ID to open their banking app.wcvsimon said:I've just tried to setup an account with the Yorkshire BS but have been rejected as I dont have any photo ID.Are they any building societies that will allow you to setup an account without photo ID ?Thanks
I normally pass online ID checks with other banks and building societies though, so rarely have to send a bank any ID. If you're failing those online checks for some reason, then you may find you come across this a lot in which case recommendations here from people for specific banks or building societies may not apply to you. Your choice of bank accounts might be limited without a passport or driving license if that keeps happening but you won't know until you try though so it's probably just a case of trial and error, unfortunately.0 -
