Payroll software and invoice software

I have been using a cloud based service for this but they are hiking the price in January to £240/year from £86 so looking for alternatives.
any recommendations that are kore reasonably priced?
I want it to be able to produce quotes, invoices and submit PAYE RTI

I used to use BrightPay for payroll at work, and they are diversifying. I liked BrightPay, can't speak to the rest of their offering, but take a look at what's on offer from Bright. No idea what pricing will look like, but for a small payroll the cost always seemed very reasonable.Signature removed for peace of mind0

If you don't have many employees (can't remember the limit) the free HMRC payroll tools does the payroll and RTI job. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of commercial products, such as design your own pay slips, but it does the basics OK.0

Quickbooks Online sounds ideal. It has payroll software in it0
