Universal Credit Calculation

Right, to help a neighbour, I am trying to work out his entitlement (or not)  to Universal Credit to help with his rent.

The problem is that the online benefits calculators do not seem to cover his circumstances, for example (amongst others) they only accept the standard Enhanced Daily Living rate of PIP in the boxes and not the rate he receives.

The DWP also seem to be having problems with his entitlement as when he applied, he received two award notifications (with different award amounts)  and three disallowance notifications, all dated the same day!

So, am looking for a way to work out his exact entitlement to Universal Credit which can be printed off to show his entitlement (or not as the case maybe).  Is there a manual way to do this if need be?

Many thanks.

What is his situation ? Does he get contributions based ESA currently ? Does he rent, does he have a partner ? UC is made up of whatever elements a person qualifies for and then deducted by earnings and other income.

    Hi,
He doesn't get any ESA at all due to his Unemployability Supplement. All he gets currently from the DWP is his reduced Enhanced Daily Living PIP.
He is age 64, widower who lives alone in Housing Association warden controlled extra care bungalow.
I think also part of the problem is the DWP doesn't seem to know what to do with his his 'other income' (WP plus supplements) and probably keep tossing a coin!
Hence the need to be able to work this out correctly.
    Thanks.

Can anyone help with this please.
He had an appointment with a benefits adviser at the local CAB outreach yesterday, but they were not able to do a manual calculation - just one on their laptop which they couldn't imput his circumstances into!
    Many thanks.
