‘Quit or stick it out’ what’s the alternative?
You seem to have misconstrued the OP's question.

This is exactly what we've been discussing all thread.
@RodMaximusI don't know exactly what services your SJP sales rep advisor provides for you, but do you think they are worth £2k per year? If not,you should consider moving to a different service provider (an Independent Financial Advisor, for example, or a self-managed platform).
If you want specific suggestions, ask and the forum will provide.

Just looking for opinions, I have had my pension pot with SJP since around Covid outbreak, just bad timing, as we have all had disastrous years, and seen our funds dwindle, then the war, my question is, my funds are still down from my original investment, some two years on, my question I guess, is are we all in the same boat? Is this going to be a long haul, or do you see recovery, obviously with interest rates high, and high inflation, we are losing money, quit or stick it out?
    Be grateful for opinions.
Apart from the SJP issue, investing is a long term game. For a pension can be 60/70 years from start to finish.
The last 20 months have been a bit negative, but nothing unusual and certainly not disastrous by historical standards ( although inflation has for sure made real returns quite negative) The recovery will come sometime.
