Using a 0% Tesco Credit card abroad

Apologies for asking this but for the life of me I cannot find any answer to this on the Tesco help site.

My 0% for 12 months runs out next month but I was thinking of using it to pay for my hotel in Spain when I arrive later this week.

I am trying to find out that if I use the card abroad, will I forfeit the 0% interest rate I currently have or will it be treated the same as a UK transaction?

The general rule of thumb is NOT to use a card for any purchasing, at all, when you have a 0% deal on the balance.  

And yes you probably will be charged a transaction fee. Use a card that wont attract any.

As above, you'll likely be charged a Foreign Exchange fee.

But if your 0% promotion expires next month, there's almost nothing to be gained from using it anyway, surely?  It would be better to use of of the "travel cards" that doesn't charge an FX fee - though if you don't already have one then I suspect you'd be unable to get one in time now.

But as far as it goes, using your Tesco card abroad won't invalidate your existing 0% deal, it'll just mean you get charged an FX fee.

If you use anything else, you will be charged FX.
