Tracked 24/48 postage option to drop off at PO not showing via eBay labels?

Hi all. This morning I'm seeing tracked 24/48 without the option to drop off at a PO (t48 being 3.29 for a small parcel, not £3.45.
So I'm guessing you buy the T48 for 3.29, take to PO and they won't accept it? I can't really do RM collection and don't have a delivery office within walking distance so there isn't a way round this other than to buy on RM's website for now?

Not sure about eBay but if you buy from RM the usual 16p is noted for PO drop off

I noticed that as well , it’s unclear what will happen if you buy it and try and drop off at the PO, perhaps we will need to wait until someone tries it! I took mine to the mail centre this morning so would pay the lower amount anyway.shapala said:Hi all. So the other day when I couldn't get a collection I did it online and picked drop off but it only charged me the collection amounts. Thinking back the PO didn't seem to check anything but just scanned the codes - not sure if the system would have flagged anything up if there had been a mismatch but I kind of got the impression that if you turn up at the PO with a labelled bit of mail it will just go into the system regardless.soolin said:

Probably worth the 16p hit for someone to try it and find out if the PO do ask for any extra payment.0 -
I did drop off Tracked 24/48 (Purchased trough eBay collection) at Post Office without any issues before when RM failed to collect. I belive it's only a recent thing with PO accepting T24/48 items. I took my labeled items to PO, items got scanned, I received receipt and that was it. Not sure if anything changed but this was fairly recent.
