Sorry to hear about the car, at least you had roadside cover and the EF to fall back on!  I'm sure you will build it back up before your target date 

How was Lisbon? It's on my bucket list but hubby seems to have other areas as a priority

@LittleMissDetermined Lisbon is beautiful and not to expensive - underground was £1.43 a trip, a pint was about 4euros… all good 🙂 and the people were so lovely, I would totally recommend. Feels like a lifetime ago already! 

All good with me, I’m making myself accountable again, I think I got a bit spend happy for a while. Payday today so I have added £200 to emergency fund and £200 to tax account. More might be added as weekly tutoring funds come in.

OH changed jobs and has taken paycut which will be fine, but had a week unpaid last month so funds aren’t looking great, so I might take a hit covering, although we are planning a generally quiet month except two nights out which are already half paid for. 

So keep me accountable please!! If I haven’t posted in a few days, drop me a comment so I log on!

All good with me, survived the storm, loads of surface flooding around and cliff fall nearby. Managed to drive to work, just for them to send students home early when storm was all over?! But hey ho! 

Quiet weekend planned I think, parkrun tomorrow and circuits tonight. I’ve been really consistent with exercise for about 3 months now, feeling good but weight not shifted an inch… although I think I’ve changed shape!

Enjoy the park run tomorrow, hopefully it’ll not be too muddy from the storm. The sky here this morning looks to be clear as a bell for a change.

I’ve been asked to run the cash envelope challenge again but there are daily ones such as the no spend day challenge and the Payment a Day one.

I think the first step is to get into the habit of coming on the forum on a daily basis.

Still plodding along. Todays jobs include planning Christmas shopping, measuring and ordering foam to give sofa cushions a new lease of life, working this afternoon and some sewing this morning 🙂

Emergency fund is looking a bit healthier and tax account almost has enough to pay bill two months early! Feeling organised this year!!
