Executor expenses (fuel)

Comments

  • Hi all.

No, the other executor isn't family, just a friend of Mum's (and girlfriend of my nephew - who is one of the other benificiaries). I'm not sure how many trips to Mum's she made, there was never much evidence of anyone else being there... the grass had been cut a couple of times this year, bins were put out occassionally. Knowing her, she's just take a figure out of thin air and then charge for all the fuel.

Thank you are for your help.

Charging mileage for dealing with an estate is one thing, charging for visiting our mother in a care home just seemed a little over the top to me, but my sister did.

Wow, just wow! Mum offered to pay travel expenses for some of us (with a way to come) when Dad was in hospital, but everyone refused AFAIK. I offered some expenses to one sibling who came some distance to help with clearing the house after Mum died, but that was also declined.
