Bank account discovered after estate accounts finalized

  • Many thanks for all the replies.  My late friend was someone who did indeed regularly move his money around at a time when interest rates were a lot lower than in 2023.  One thing I've learnt from this is to store a list of my accounts in a drawer next to my will.

    Honesty don’t have lots of bank accounts.  People don’t keep proper records.  Father had 20 bank accounts.  All with paper records in a hoarders house.  It was then chucked over to me….

    Dont do it to your Attorneys or even worse your Executors.  I literally spent all day going to various banks getting POA registered and not always successfully.
