NS&I - 6.2% Bond - Immediate Deposit Required?

Hi there,
Has anyone set up an account for the most recent bond offering from NS&I? I want to move my premium bonds to it shortly, but I was wanting to set up the account first but not sure if I can.
Do you need to deposit the money as you set up the account, or can you do the account setting up first at all?

You need to deposit when setting up account.3

The funds are taken at the same time as applying. You could open a Direct Saver and move your PBs to that rather than withdrawing and re-depositing from NS&I
