Nervous waiting

Hi
I have several satisfied defaults from over 3 years ago from previous marriage.
My wife and I have some zero 0% credit cards which we are repaying on time and will clear within 0% period and have saved up around £25000 towards deposit. I was expecting to have to go through a broker and to lenders such as Accord or Kensington for a mortgage but have secured a MIP through Yorkshire Building Society and had an offer accepted on a house for £203500.
We have made a full application today and now nervously waiting for more information over the next few days/weeks.
In the position of a 'computer said yes' but convinced a person will say no and that some kind of mistake has happened!
Has anyone been with YBS with such issues on credit files?

How many defaults are we talking about? One satisfied 3 years a go yes possibly but 3 or more then that's a high risk for a lender. Why didn't you seek advice from a broker based on these circumstances? The MIP/DIP doesn't usually do a hard search on your credit.0

Don’t be too nervous. If they should now say no it does not mean the end you can then look for a broker and he will find another lender for you. Different lenders have different criteria.Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)
