Take your lunch to work - September 2023

Couldn’t see a thread for this month but hopefully there’ll be some fellow lunchers joining me, I really need to rein in my spending after an expensive August.

I worked two days this week but only one in the office so took a lunchbox of half a pouch of Mediterranean style lentils with tomato, avocado and hard boiled egg 😋

Going to chargrill some peppers when the bbq is on later so they will appear in next week’s lunchboxes.

More Mediterranean lentils in yesterday’s lunchbox, this time with homegrown salad leaves, roasted peppers and feta.

Another lunchbox day as in offsite meetings. The rest of the bbq roasted peppers with feta in harissa couscous plus homegrown salad leaves (which are going crazy)!

Was in the office yesterday but had run out of inspiration and still on a use up/no spending drive so tuna and sweetcorn mayo in a pitta bread with cucumber sticks and a bag of crisps 😉

Not sure where everyone else is?

I only had two days to think about this week so they were both cumin and chilli roasted carrot, lentil and feta salad, with homegrown salad leaves of course 🙃

Just a couple of office days to think about again this week. Made smoked mackerel pitta pizzas yesterday so today was one of those with salad and coleslaw. Pot of strawberries for afternoon snack 😋

Rinse and repeat today, except nectarine instead of strawberries.

Not in the office again until October so that’s me done for this month 😊
