Paypal Bank scam??

Thanks for all the feedback. I don't really have anything to do with paypal so grateful for the advice.
After a few more questions and offering to wait while he sorted a bank transfer he suddenly disappeared.
I must have upset him!!!!3 -

Just say for instance that somebody's Paypal account has been hacked - dirty money from it transferred to your bank account (through friends and family?).
Guaranteed in a few days or weeks Paypal will contact your bank to stay the proceeds paid into your account is dirty money - so your account is blocked/frozen/potentially closed down - and your boat has long sailed away.
You end up with no boat and a debt to Paypal or your bank.1 -
