Mature Disable Student

I live in Northern Ireland and have been accepted onto a two year diploma course on Irish language in a local University.  But there are difficulties - that's why I'm here 😏

Short Story. I'm 74, classified as disabled, and hold an MA from the OU, single and living on state benefits. To complete the course would be in excess of £3,250

StudentFinanceNI do not cover a second bite at the cherry especially if you are dropping down from Masters to Diploma. Living on pension credit and disability benefits £3,250 plus is out of my reach, so I'm searching around for other forms of finance. Given what I've said above have any of you ideas as to what might be available, grant awarding bodies?

I am a volunteer with a local major national and international cultural group

As always thanks for suggestions
