Clarks school shoes date fit

Apple a pair of shoes from Clarks for my daughter for school. Clark's measured her feet. Gave her some shoes. She said that they were ok and the person measuring said they were also ok. Got home. She's worn them for 3 days and they are rubbing on her little toe. Paid £50 for these shoes. Have I got any come back at all? Can I go back and ask for a refund or an exchange? The fact they measured shortly that means they have given me poorly fitting shoes? Thoughts?

Clarks are usually pretty good with returns in my experience (albeit some years ago).Just go back and explain and see if they can help.0

Agree with above - explain what the issue is and see what they say. Best place to start is speaking to the retailer and see what they say.

When Clarks did this twice to my children when they were small they refunded without any problem. After getting it wrong twice however we no longer use them. John Lewis are our go to now and not had any problemsMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Clarkes are normally reasonable with these things.
The traditional shoe measuring is ultimately really crude, it only measures the length and width at their greatest points whereas our feet are massively more complex things than that and why two identically sized shoes may feel totally different because of the different shape of the last.
Were you to add another two zeros to get to the cost of a bespoke pair of shoes (in the UK at least) you're still advised that its the second pair you buy that will be the great fit because no measuring (or 3d scanning etc) is equivalent to actually walking about in the shoes for a few days.1
