What agreement do you have and in what way is it sham? Does your LL live in the property? I think more details will be required for people to comment or advise.

You are going to have give more information
What sham agreement?
But in essence you have the same rights as most other tenants so you can't just be kicked out ( on the basis of what you have said)0 -
You are either a tenant with a contract and rights, or a live in lodger with no rights.1

More information required. Do you share a home with your landlord or do you live in the same building as your landlord? Is the place you rent your only or main home.F37A said:Hi

this is one issue with forums people give such little information, it takes more time when you dont get given the full facts in the first place3

One of the regrets of my life is that I let an estate agent get me to sign an undated statement that I had received notice to quit. They said it was standard (which I wasn't sure about then, and know is a lie now), and I had to find a place for my currently homeless (with relatives) family to live.
Clearly I don't know the OP's problem or what the sham agreements were. But, I read the OP and think 'There but for the grace of God go I...'.0 -
Pointless trying to answer with so little information. But Shelter's 'tenancy checker' would be a good starting point (assuming this is England):

thanks all
It doesn't say AST on contract. It says tenancy agreement. It says "right to occupy the proeprty until expiry" Landlord can end tenancy if tenant fails to carry out responsbilities or goes bankrupt.
One month rolling contract. One month notice in contract but haven't been given formal notce but informally told to get out by certain date like 2 or 3 weeks.

LL doesn't live in property.
Thanks2 -
Who told you to get out?
How did they tell you
In any case you have not been given proper notice
I would first of all be changing locks
Record the events as you describe and call the police if they attempt an illegal eviction1
