balance transfer

Hi,

By some miracle we have been accepted for a balance transfer with Natwest. The new card is in my name. On the Natwest website it says that you can only transfer balances from cards that are in your name. Ideally we wanted to transfer the balance from my wifes highest interest card. I am a second card holder for this account so would this work? The card is in my name, even though the account belongs to my wife. TIA

No, but I would assume they all followed the same principal.

Don't be that confident.

However, in 2019 I did transfer a balance from my Barclaycard to my wife's Natwest CC.  Well, to be precise, she transferred my balance to her CC .

I’ve often transferred someone else’s debt to one of my cards, do it on line and they only ask for the long card number. Never had an issue with it.

I think they don't check but technically you are not supposed to do it
