Hi. Had a PIP award review / face to face assessment last week. Seemed to go OK as nothing has altered since my origoinal review.
Eveyting in the PIP world always seems to go slow or be delayed. Does anybody know approx how long it is typivally taking for existing PIP claimants to hear back re a decision post a face to fac review assessment?
Thank you.

Between 2-12 weeks after the report is returned to DWP.

Thanks. That narrow a timeframe!0

You can ask for a copy of the assessment report so you know what the decision is likely to be. (Although for me a few years ago the decision arrived before the report anyway!)1

I've returned a review form this month, I needed to call DWP to extend the return date, and took the opportunity to ask how long reviews were taking. I was told "currently 40 weeks"
The 'better' news if you can call it that was that they apparently continue payments whilst the review is underway.
I'm not holding my breath for a positive result as I had a fight the first time around, and although my condition is better in some areas, it's worse in others. In addition, I reach SPA next year, and I have the gut feeling that to get out of making an award they'll say that increased age has affected me rather than the condition itself.
We'll see

I got my decision letter 2 weeks after assessment which is good. But decision letter says award from 9 March 2023 to 28 August 2026 but nothing about review.
Does this mean there is no review and award will end on 28th August 2026 and I will have to apply again?0 -
