If you bought a car from Car Giant, did you purchase a warranty?

If you did, how much did you pay?
I'm thinking of buying a car there and wondering if I should pay for the warranty though I suspect it will be very expensive?

Have you had a thorough read through their warranty to see if
- It actually covers things that might go wrong.
- It offers more than your statutort rights do anyway.
So many aftermarket warranties only cover certain parts of the car, have long lists of exclusions, and have a limit on how much they will pay out.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
I bought from them and despite the hard sell I didn't buy a warranty.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

If it's under three years old, most manufacturers will allow you to extend the warranty.0

Never purchased an extended warranty from a 3rd party.
As generally not worth the paper they are written on.
I extended my Peugeot warranty for 4 years now, £1300 in total.
Two claims, Washer pipe from bottle, inside wing up to the bonnet £280.
Today my Adblue tank was replaced £1800 ish.
Washer pipe was a nightmare to get done, dealer said was blocked jets and not covered.
When the split pipe jetted screenwash over the technician he backed down and got the job done.
Adblue tank was easy, due to fault showing on dash.
A quick scan and tank was ordered and fitted.
As above if under 3 years old go with main dealer warranty if possible.0
