Hi!
Most hotels in Amsterdam doesn't have air-conditioning. Is an air-conditioned room a necessity for a July stay? What is the weather usually like in July?
Thanks.

Bed - sleep - amsterdam..........never...............get yourself down to Amsterdam and have a wicked nighttime in all the bars, pubs and clubs. If your feeling hot have a beer.
have a great time we came back the other weekend it was our 1st visit there and we loved it.0 -
I lived in Amsterdam for 8 years and found the weather to be just as unpredictable as in the UK, but the extremes were a bit more extreme (i.e. if it was hot it was a couple of degrees warmer than London, and if it was cold it was REALLY cold). If you're a nesh southerner, go for aircon, but as the previous poster mentioned, you don't go to Amsterdam on holiday to sleep. Less important than air-con in the hotel is mosquito repellent. They're big, mean and virtually indestructible in Amsterdam thanks to all that standing water in the canals. Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do criticise him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.0
