RM can't collect from my address?

Been away for two weeks and now got loads of Ebay stuff to post. Went online to organise it yesterday and RM are saying they temporarily can't arrange collections from my address. Been trying all yesterday and this morning but seems like it's not going to change any time soon.
Anyone had this before? What causes it?
I thought it might just be a full van or something and I'd be able to do it today but seems not.
A dreaded trip to the PO with all this stuff in tow in the offing it would appear as this stuff has already been waiting to go out for over a week.

Yeah it's all due for dispatch yesterday or today so think i better bite the bullet and just go to the PO. It says there's no extra charge for going to the PO since collection is unavailable but it does mean having to drive into town and park up sadly.0

Just back from the PO and of course forgot my other reason for avoiding them as much as possible - all my measured and checked large letters don't fit through their checker so they become small parcels!0

I measured the item with a tape and it was 2.3cm deep. It was also soft enough that it should compress a little if it was pulled. But it didn't go through the checker in the PO.
So now left with the choice of rebooking it as a parcel, or just posting it and taking the chance its fine. I've been caught out before with something else that I measured to be within limits that then got dinged but I've also sent loads of things that were borderline that have gone through and arrived.
The issue is that if I get the LL collected then they have about a 95% success rate, if I take them to this PO then they have about a 20% success rate of going through the checker and if I take them to the other PO they had about an 80-90% success rate in the checker.
If I feel lazy i'll just stick it in the post box now its labelled. If i feel like challenging anything i might take it to the other PO and see if they accept it.0 -

They might even refund the excess postage you have paid..0
