Morning everyone
It was a lovely day here yesterday - I went for lunch with mam and dad, DD and little one - she told everyone 'I'm starting big school tomorrow' Then I had a lovely lazy afternoon - mostly reading but also doing some weeding.
I've just had a text from DD - little one went into school for her first day very happy. She sent some lovely photos too. Hopefully everything will go smoothly today - a nurse is going in to do tubey training and then nursery staff will help with it until we think the teachers can manage - then the nurse will come back and watch them. There's no point in stressing about it now, but it should have all been done before the end of last term.
So I'm back at work today too. Little one got my polo shirt out the wardrobe for me yesterday so I was ready for nursery! I'm working every afternoon, which is one more than in July so I'm hoping I manage as I really feel no better as time goes on. It doesn't seem that long since her mummy was starting at the same school.
Eldest DD was on the phone very excited last night - she's definitely going to Boston next year for a couple of months, probably in March or April. It's on an exchange so someone will come over from the Boston offices to do her job.
Right, enough waffle from me today. ....proud but stressed granny!
Hope everyone has a good day and the sun is shining x
Snoozer we must have posted at the same time - pleased to hear Esben enjoyed his first day at nursery x10 -
I didn't post on here yesterday - had a busy day - MH came to see Mr F - he is now discharged from their care.
Then I went with him to see the Doctor - his blood tests showed low Haemoglobin so has to do a stool test now. He has never been anemic before.
Went straight from Dr to count money with officer.
My tests have all come back satisfactory but I see the DR next week.
Today was the return of SA lunch club after a six week break. Yummy roast pork dinner but hard work as usual. I don't eat until I am sure that everyone has been served.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
