People not taking advice

Is it me or are we seeing more and more people blatantly ignore advice given.?
They seem to read what they want to read. Ignore what they are advised and then try and justify it to themselves.

and this is an excellent point, its really appreciated by everyone when someone tells the outcome (either way) follow help on the forum
its a bit galling when people ask for advice on one issue, then dont give an outcome and come back asking for further advice on a different one

I think the problem is that people don't actually read, take time to digest what was said and then act. I run a small after school club and send out invoices at the start of the term, stating what time the classes are, what dates they run and the charge. Within 5 minutes of me sending these out I'll get a few replies saying thank you for the invoice, when do classes start.

There's also a bit of expectation some people seem to have that the experts on this forum are going to do everything for them.
  • It's because people are human and not AI and don't understand

The same happens with government. RAAC comes to mind

The same happens with some clueless Judges who don't understand
