Yahoo mail not remembering email addresses

I have a Yahoo email account and there are a few email addresses that I use very often but they never autofill when I start typing them. I've even added them to my contacts but it still doesn't work. It's driving me mad as I have to find the email address and type it in/copy and paste it every time. Anyone got any ideas how I can sort this please?

Do you mean like in the screen shot below - for example, you type "c" in the "To" field, and expect to see all your frequently used email addresses beginning with "c" as suggestions?
But some of your frequently used email addresses beginning with "c" have stopped appearing in the list?
If so, a friend has exactly the same problem. I've tried all the ideas I can find on the internet - none seem to fix it.
My suspicion is that it's happened because the user intended to pick an email address by clicking on the blue shading - but accidentally clicked the "X" on the right - which means "don't suggest this email address in future".
But I can't find a way of reversing it - and saying "start suggesting this email address again".
If anyone has any ideas, I'd be very interested.
FWIW, it's happening on the web version of Yahoo, with Chrome, Windows, on multiple PCs.

Hi Hebrews12, I had the same problem. When composing an email, click on the 'To' at the top of the page, and it should bring down a list of all your contacts. Select the contact that it is not autofilling by ticking the box next to it and clicking on 'Done'. The name will now appear in your composed email. Delete the email. Compose another email and as soon as you start typing your contacts name you will get up to 6 options to choose from. As usual, the more letters you type the shorter the list becomes. Then just select your contact from it.0
