Torbeck toilet repair

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help. My toilet flush valve is leaking (some older style Torbeck) and I was thinking of replacing the two rubber washers, which would hopefully solve the problem. I went to a couple of shops and searched online, but I am unable to find these exact washers (maybe too old). I would also be happy to buy an identical complete flush valve, but I could not find that either.
If I cannot find these, I need to buy a different brand valve, which would mean taking off the cistern and that's something I would want to avoid.
Thanks a lot.

If it's the bigger washer that is at fault, this can be fixed by adding some silicone sealant or silicone grease when fixing the valve. And I don't think you need "an identical complete flush valve" to replace the old one. I'm pretty sure there are many modern valves compatible with your cistern. Post a photo? We are born naked, wet and hungry...Then things get worse.

Thanks grumbler for the reply. I have not tried the silicone sealant/grease, might give it a try. Yes, I am sure that most new valves would fit my cistern, it's just - if possible - I am trying to avoid taking off the cistern from the wall (very old with rusty screws and has been glued to the wall as well); that's why I was looking for something that the old valve can accommodate.0
