Paying energy bills monthly on receipt

    These days I am surprised that those who are anti DD don't switch to prepay - particularly smart prepay - and pay today's on ave at cap tdcv cheaper rates by on line, standing order or phone top up.

    It's iirc prepay now about £160 less than standard credit at Oct rates on average regional Ofgem tdcv use cap (and £48 less than DD ).


    And I don't know about the Octopus route - but Paypoint is quoted as charging one sub meter admin it's clients an extra 3% commission on its website on a recent link I found. 

    Perhaps normal suppliers like Octopus et al have to or simply do eat that cost themselves on Ofgem compliant prepay tariffs.
