Hi,
My partner took a one trip holiday insurance policy out in July for a holiday in October, she has just been put on a new medication for a new condition. Rang insurance company to check it was okay and was charged a £15 fee. I would have thought anything after the policy was taken out would not be taken into account. Can anyone please advise.

You did the right thing in declaring the condition and medication, the policy Ts and Cs require you to do so.
Do check that this new condition is actually covered and not excluded.
Think yourself lucky that they are continuing to insure you as their risk has changed.0 -
It could be an admin fee to change the policy with the new information. I’ve had to update my annual insurance following some tests and although it didn’t change the cost of cover, they removed some exclusions. I was charged an admin fee for the update. It’ll be on your terms and conditions somewhere.
She’s not been charged for being a new medication. Her health has changed and subsequently the risk level has changed and the insurance policy documents need to reflect that. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
