Thanks. Interestingly, when I plug the numbers into my spreadsheet, I'm cheaper on the PAYG rate (higher SC, lower unit rate) than the SVR, but I suspect that's because my gas meter is faulty, and when that issue gets sorted, it will be the other way around.
But, for high usage customers, don't always assume Direct Debit is the cheapest rate.0 -

EDF’s PAYG has been cheaper for quite a while now. Obviously with the slightly higher standing charge depending on your usage would depend on whether it’s worth it or not.It really annoys me when everyone goes on about PAYG being the most expensive tariff & really unfair as the poorest are the ones that tend to be on it. It’s really not1

Well for me (E7 Eastern SVT) my day rate has gone down about 4p, SC up fractionally and night rate unchanged.
Disappointed really, I had hoped the night rate might go down a few p.
Well roll on January.
