I recieved a letter from gladstone solicitors about a parking fine from a private company.
I submited a SAR as per people told me on peepipoo forum. Looking at it. Looks like it was not me but somebody else driving my car at the time.
On that forum they told me to follow steps on newbie thread on this forum
Sorry but that is most confusing piece of information i have read in my life.
Can somebody tell me in simple terms please what i need to do now after i have recieved the SAR information back from the parking company please.
Thank you for the help

Sorry but that is most confusing piece of information i have read in my life.I wrote it. People use the NEWBIES thread happily every day. Please tell us what's confusing about the second post?
After a SAR and replying to a LBC you just wait for the next stage. Court claim.
Which is covered in plain English in the NEWBIES thread second post.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"Replying to the LBC" thats the one..reply with what sorry??
Issue i have is i got a parking ticket when i was not the driver. I own the car. But did not park there nor get the ticket. I have done a SAR and have the pictures and original pcn now. So what do i reply with now please to them?
Do i tell them it is not me and give them details of the driver at the time.0 -
I need to do this part reading it again:
Your email tells the solicitor:
(a) I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
(b) I have sent your client a SAR
(c) also confirm your correct 'address for service' if you've moved and the PPC has two addresses.
So after this i need to reply to the LBC letter. Is there a template for this please0 -
You've just quoted it:

Thanks will do that and email them. Do i tell them who the driver was so they can issue the fine to them? Do they have to reissue it as a new pcn then to the named driver?
As at the moment gladstone has added their own random charges on top. Which after reading online seems like they are not allowed to do.0 -

As that NtK does not appear to be PoFA compliant (unless it is stated elsewhere on the back), why would you want to throw the driver under the bus? As long as you have not identified the driver, they ave nowhere to run with this. As the PCN is not PoFA compliant, they cannot hold you as the RK liable.Nav330 said:Thanks will do that and email them. Do i tell them who the driver was so they can issue the fine to them? Also, stop calling it a "fine".1 -
Ok so do i tell them i was not the driver and that as it is not pofa compliant i do not accept the debt etc. Without giving them details of the driver. I was told not to ignore this now so i am tryng to resolve it now. Thanks
