Group Nexus Appeal

Hi all
I have been following the newbies
post to appeal a PCN issued by Group Nexus to my parents. They were
away on holiday and parked in a car park where they had to enter their
registration number. They did this however it appears to have
malfunctioned as the ticket only has the first letter printed on it.
When
the invoice was received I appealed it using the template on the
newbies thread and I added a sentence to say that the correct amount of
parking was paid and attached a copy of the ticket. Unfortunately
whilst filling out the online form I made a mistake with the email
address, so I sent them an email asking for it to be updated on the
appeal. This was on the 21st July (same day as the appeal). My parents have now received a
reminder from Group Nexus but we haven't seen a response to appeal.
Whenever I try to call the number on the back of the letter
(03309390104) it disconnects without even calling. I can't submit an
appeal with POPLA as I don't have the reference number and all other
avenues so far have been fruitless. Any advice on what to do next?
Thanks

Nothing.
They have 35 days, so expect a rejection letter or email towards the end of this month.
Why has the retailer not cancelled it? That is the easy 'immediate win' route. Appeal won't work.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You dont phone parking firms
i would say they have declined your appeal to the wrong email address

Your parent could email their DPO and ask for a copy of the rejection letter as you suspect they emailed it to the wrong address.
Not sure why you are prioritising wanting to run the pointless gamut of the false appeals pathway though, when the retailer or hospital can cancel the PCN in 5 minutes flat (if the victim complains pre-POPLA).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There isn't a retailer / hospital or any other business related to the land. I cannot find the details for the landowner, the land registry doesn't list the car park when searching via post code, and the council claim its not their land. We don't live local and any pictures I've found of the car park the signs are not clear enough to read. Hence the appeal to the scammers. My concern is they'll end up paying it as it'll potentially go to debt collectors before a response to the sar is received.0

But why would anyone pay just because they get laughable £170 debt demands from the usual suspects?
And I advised what to do. Has the victim done the simple DPO email needed to get a copy?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
