TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Samsung x Magic” (the “Competition”).

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   Online at https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/competitions/ to register for your chance to play on air.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	Listeners must pre-register at https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/competitions/ for their chance to be called on air. Entrants must write in the name of their friend/ loved one and reason why they would like to ‘flip’ their day.   Five entries will be judged on how entertaining, compelling, heart-warming and how deserving the entry is. All entries will be judged by the Magic Drive production team, the production manager, and an independent judge.   We will be shortlisting entries from the open of the competition on the 06/09/2023 at 00.01 until the close of the competition online entry period on 14/09/2023 at 8:45am. On shortlisting, we will require the nominators to coherently explain their entry and discuss their reasoning as to why the nominated deserve to be entered into the chance of winning. The entry must be compelling and match the entry that was entered online.  The nominator will be asked to ask the nominated if their phone number can be shared with the Magic Production team, which will be used only in relation to this competition.   On being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win on being told they are the winner by the production team from the 11th September 2023 – 15th of September 2023.  The nominator and/ or the nominated will be called to air with Magic Breakfast Presenters Ronan and Harriet to discuss the prize and have their win announced.     All nominators and/ or nominated will be called ahead the competition segment being recorded.  If the chosen nominated and/or nominator is unavailable when we come to call on the recording date, a backup finalist will be chosen in their place and may miss out on winning.   The 1st nomination to be picked to record an on-air segment will be notified that they are selected no later than 12pm on 06/09/2023  The 2nd nomination to be picked to record an on-air segment will be notified that they are selected no later than 12pm on 07/09/2023  The 3rd nomination to be picked to record an on-air segment will be notified that they are selected no later than 12pm on 08/09/2023  The 4th nomination to be picked to record an on-air segment will be notified that they are selected no later than 12pm on 11/09/2023  The 5th nomination to be picked to record an on-air segment will be notified that they are selected no later than 12pm on 12/09/2023      All final decisions will rest with the Magic Radio Production team.   The Magic Radio Production Team reserve the right to pre-record any part of this competition, with contestants before as the ‘as-live’ broadcast.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   From Monday 4th September at 00.01am (the “Start Time”) to Thursday 14thSeptember at 12.00pm (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. If anyone has won a competition on any Bauer Media brand (see point below) to the value of £500 or more in the past 6 months, they or any person at the winning address will not be eligible to win the competition. Winning the on-air competition will trigger this condition for the online competition. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
