I still have a CPP policy which has filled over for I don’t know how many years. Looking now so pull in our belts as the cost of living is begging to pinch. Is it worth keeping this going or is it just doubling up when we are covered in other ways?

It's always been an awful value product. So awful it's not even sold anymore.
Unless you lose your cards on a regular basis and don't know how to contact your bank in any way, cancel it.0
