DVLA have incorrectly put my address on a V5 form

Hi, DVLA have incorrectly put my address on the V5 form which has resulting in a PCN now costing me £175. I have evidence from the dealer where I purchased my car from that he put the correct address on the V5 form and posted it to DVLA. Can I make a claim from DVLA. Thanks

Did you not check the address when you received the V5?0

I doubt a claim from DVLA will be possible. They didn't do anything about repeatedly sending my OH a new license when we moved, each time with the old address, but sent to our new one. Took 2 years to sort out.
For the charge look at the stickies on the forum for how to deal with the PCN.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If the address was wrong presumably they didn't receive the V5 - which then brings out the question of 'How long ago ?' and whether the OP then chased up the fact they hadn't received the V5.Ozzig said:Did you not check the address when you received the V5?
@raewhite what evidence do you have of the correct address being provided and how 'wrong' is the address ?2 -
What sort of £175 PCN? Who from?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
