Vanquis vs. Current top savings?

Hi all, recently was talking to family member who is on top of his money and current interest rates, and was recommended Vanquis bank. Unfortunately as they are often limited offers and nothing is available at the moment.
My question is, how often do they make them available and is it worth waiting? My money is invested else where so I could afford to keep it there for a now but I do want to put into a fixed rate account for the next 1-2 years.

No point waiting, just take the best fixed rate currently available. NS&I have 1 year fixed at 6.2%

You should never limit yourself to one particular bank as you are limiting your options and unlikely to get the best rate.
