Access rights and gas meter installation
Hi, I live in a flat above a commercial property, in Scotland, who doesn't have access in the deeds to the back of the property; apart for maintenance of shared pipes etc. He is wanting to split off from the main gas pipe at the back to install his own gas supply, as it is cheaper for him to do this than from the front. I'm ok with him doing the work but he wants his meter outside, at the back, which is on my land and he doesn't have access to. I think it breaches the access rights in the deeds and also the fact I own that bit of land exclusively again as stated in my deeds. He should therefore install the meter inside of his property, am I right in my thinking? Thank you for your help
