Hi guys
I bought something online from a seller. (not from an online selling platform like ebay or amazon). The seller is English but is living in Spain. I used my Chase Mastercard Debit card.
Since paying him the money - 2 months ago - theres been no contact. What protection - if any - do I have with my Chase Mastercard Debit card? Perhaps theres another avenue I could pursue?
Thanks

Thankyou! Im just started reading the MSE article about chargeback.
I made an initial deposit payment in 20 May, and another on 4 August. So looks like I could get chargeback for both payments?0 -
I recently did a chargeback through Chase, though in that case the seller emailed me that they had ceased trading. Be patient, I started my claim on 20 May and was eventually refunded on 29 July.1

Thanks @northwalesd - Did you phone Chase and explain the situation? Or do they have a form to fill in somewhere?0

Easier to ring them. I did one the other week.dllive said:Thanks @northwalesd - Did you phone Chase and explain the situation? Or do they have a form to fill in somewhere?1 -
I just did it through the chat functionality in the app, I did have to upload correspondence (emails) and it was all handled through that.1
