I knew it was coming but to wake up to a message and then seeing this just reconfirms how far I’ve come and the end of 6 year period that I’d rather not ever have to experience again. A very much welcome relief!

The end of a long journey? Where do you want to go next?

Hope everything goes well for you.

  • Thanks RAS, I was fortunate enough to settle the IVA in October 2021 in full and re-enter the Financial Market without the shackles of the IVA and work towards rebuilding my history. My short term plan is to continue building a nest egg for a deposit for a property with a medium term plan to purchase next spring/summer.

As hard as the IVA was (the initial decision to enter it and then the actual stages of it) I can honestly say it has changed my financial outlook/management for the better, I am absolutely the other end of the spectrum now!

  • I’m so happy for you OP!
im in the earlier stages on my IVA. I can’t wait for it to be over and to rebuild myself. I really am using this time as a learning curve though as the last thing I want is to ever go down this road again!
do you have any tips on how you went from one end of the spectrum to the other?

    Congratulations 🥳
