What is the date of the county court judgment?  What is the date by which you have to pay and what is the amount?  If you can pay it (as suggested by @KeithP) before that date you will be OK, if you pay after that date there will be a CCJ lodged on your credit file and you will have to think long and hard about applying for a set-aside.  Whatever you decide to do, if you need to write any witness statements or defence, please consider using correct English Grammar as above.

That might be the advice from the idiot in the pub, or the Muppet on Facebook, but it's not been like that for years.

Although the original issue was not of your own doing and you were dealing with nasty greedy scammers your inactivity has now let you down big time looks like you are stuck with it.
