Gers, you were a minute ahead of me!
Grey start here and it's a bit chilly.
I'm going into Newcastle this morning but I'm not planning to be there for hours, I'm returning a parcel to J Lewis and might be tempted by other shops.
Not much else happening today.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.12 -
Morning allAfter biblical proportions of rain falling yesterday it seems today will be dry and sunny!!Not alot going on today. Going to make a lemon sponge and then make inroads into the, at least, ton of cooking apples my DH brought home from someone at work who was giving them away. I've bought some deep tins so will be cutting them up and making a batch of crumble and will freeze them for those cold winter nights that only something hot with custad will do!Keep safe everyone and have a good day all x11

Morning folks and thanks GERS. It's rather grey here too but no rain is forecast and it still feels mild.
I was going to go on the Saturday Harrogate bus ride this morning but now feel I cba. I had a stupid early wakening morning and now feel washed out so may stay put. I was only going for the bus ride and a browse so nothing at stake if I don't go.
I had a good catch up with my DF at the carvery yesterday and I think it did her good to offload her worries and woes. Lots of health problems amongst her family are getting her down. She felt better after a few glasses of wine!
Woops my post shot off without me knowing I had pressed save. So editing to wish you all a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or poorly loved ones. Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Scarlet - I always think that we'll post at the same time and then wait too long! 😀
After a lovely day yesterday the morning is looking promising. I'll change the bed linen and get it washed and and the line. I was too lazy yesterday.I was waiting for my parcel delivery which arrived early afternoon. I'd been in the kitchen and when I came out I saw the delivery van drive past slowly. On a hunch I went out to the big barn and there was my parcel. The bloke hadn't bothered to stop at my wide open front door to give it to me. I was so annoyed that I phoned the company to complain. If I hadn't seen the van I'd have had no idea that the parcel of chilled food was there. The usual driver is now the team leader and was very apologetic. My fridge doesn't need replenishing, the DW is almost full but I hoping to squeeze in what I use today before turning it on whilst the WM will be whirring away shortly.I hope that everyone is doing well and has some sunshine. Happy Saturday to all.11 -
Morning All
Fine morning, the sun was shining earlier but has gone for a little rest I think. Bedding and other washing on the line, the towels are doing their thing at the moment.
Just off for a swim and then a trip to the allotment. I'm out this afternoon for a post wedding BBQ for someone at work, should be good fun as her and her friends are very theatrical.
Boo to the delivery driver Gers. I've just accidentally re-arranged a delivery for Monday even though I will be about most of the morning.
Glad you had a good trip out TA.
Enjoy Newcastle Scarlet.
Good luck with the move NRA.
I did get to the dentist yesterday and all the work is now done thank goodness, just need to go back for a check up in a month. My mouth was numb for hours last night so had a tin of chicken soup for tea with lots of slurping!
Have a good weekend, take care. XX11 -
Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off Gers (I originally posted on Scarlett's post

I am seeing a friend this morning.
Hope everyone has a nice day xx

Morning all.
The second load of towels are in washing and am having my second cup of tea. Didn't rush to get up this morning as had a busy day yesterday and tomorrow will need to be up and out early so will slow down a bit today. I just can't keep up the pace these days!
Tonight's meal will be tarragon chicken but I need to discuss tomorrow's with DH as I'll be out all day until at least 6.30pm and we have left over bolognaise sauce in the fridge that either needs using up or freezing.
I changed my mobile yesterday so have had to order a new case and screen protector and am having to sign back in to various Apps that I use. It's currently sat here doing an update and then I can get to grips with any new ways of doing things. I seem to have 574 videos transferred over though so need to remove those. Bet they are mainly little clips of DGS that DD has sent via WhatsApp.
Hope everyone's day goes well.10 -

IZZY - Harrogate is a nice town to wander around but take plenty of money with you as there are some expensive shops there! I like TKMaxx at the top of the Victoria shopping centre when looking for Christmas gifts but you need to run the gauntlet of all the clothes rails before you get to the gift section! I got quite a few gift sets from the Ilkley branch of the Yorkshire Soap Co for Xmas presents last year. They were all well received so worth paying a bit more for them. x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9

Morning all. Didn't have a good night - got up late so decided not to rush out to prayer breakfast - like Wicked Lady4 - sometimes need to be sensible and slow down.
Popping out for some shopping this morning - need fruit.
Later on I hope to work on and finish the two dolls that are wips.
