GOOD MORNING BRITAIN AND LORRAINE PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

Who can enter:

These Good Morning Britain and Lorraine terms and conditions, along with ITV's General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions, available here, (“General Terms”), apply to the Prize Draws (defined below).

The Prize Draws (defined below) are open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draws period(s) and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC, UCHL, or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draws.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draws.

Opening/closing date & time:

There will be one (1) prize draw in relation to the programmes Good Morning Britain and Lorraine (the “Main Prize Draw”) and one (1) associated prize draw for entrants to have the chance to win a bonus prize (the “Bonus Prize Draw”). The Main Prize Draw and Bonus Prize Draw together, the “Prize Draws”.

Main Prize Draw

· The Main Prize Draw opens for entries PRTS, SMS, post, and online via i) via the QR code showing during the on screen promotion (to be redirected to www.itv.com/win) in relation to Good Morning Britain only (“QR Code”); or (ii) the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 1 September 2023.

· The Main Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online (together, the “Paid Entry Routes”) at 2.00pm on Friday 3 November 2023 and via post (“Postal Entry Route”) at 4.00pm on Thursday 9 November 2023.

Bonus Prize Draw

Subject to the Postal Requirements (defined in the ‘Post’ section below), all entries into the Main Prize Draw will receive a corresponding entry into the Bonus Prize Draw for the chance to win a bonus prize as follows:

· The Bonus Prize Draw opens on Friday 1 September 2023 and closes for entries: (i) via Paid Entry Routes at 2.00pm on Friday 8 September 2023; and (ii) via the Postal Entry Route at 4.00pm on Thursday 14 September 2023.

Please note that for the period from Thursday 14 September at 4.00pm to Thursday 9 November 2023 at 4.00pm, there will be no Bonus Prize Draw. However, from Thursday 14 September at 4.00pm there will be a different postal ID as shown in the ‘Post’ section below to enter into the Main Prize Draw only.

Winner selection & contact:

There will be two (2) draws in total as follows:

· Main Prize Draw: the draw will take place within (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries into the Main Prize Draw. Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries for Main Prize Draw will win £100,000 cash.

· Bonus Prize Draw: the draw will take place within (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries into Bonus Prize Draw. Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries for Bonus Prize Draw 1 will win a Holiday Voucher (as defined below).

How to enter & cost of entry:

Entrants can enter the Main Prize Draw via the following methods:

· PRTS Phone - call 09068 78 5557 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line; up to fifteen (15) paid entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive a third entry into the Main Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). For each subsequent call from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their call). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each call costs £2.00 plus your network access charge.

Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Main Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering the Main Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in the Main Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

For entries made via the Postal Entry Route to qualify for the Bonus Prize Draw, you must add the correct postal ID (‘SUN 36’), as shown in the ‘post’ section above) and your postal entry must be received during the Bonus Prize Draw period as set out in the ‘opening/closing date & time’ section above (“Postal Requirements”). Prize:

There are two (2) prizes consisting of: (i) £100,000 cash; and (ii) a holiday e-voucher (‘Holiday Voucher”).

(i) £100,000 cash – Main Prize Draw

The winner of the Main Prize Draw will win £100,000 (one hundred thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

(ii) A Holiday Voucher – Bonus Prize Draw

The prize for the winner of the Bonus Prize Draw consists of an e-voucher worth £15,000 (fifteen thousand pounds) to redeem against a single or multiple Sandals Resorts or Beaches Resorts holiday on sale through UCHL by emailing UCHL (subject to availability).

Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts are ‘Luxury Included’ hotels in the Caribbean. Accommodations are inclusive of all meals, premium brand beverages, daily and nightly entertainment, an array of land and water sports activities including scuba diving (for certified divers), snorkelling, Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas, resort gratuities, resort taxes and resort transfers to and from the selected or designated resort’s airport in the Caribbean.

Subject to availability, the winner can redeem the Voucher Holiday against the following products before departure: (i) international flights between the UK and the Caribbean; (ii) domestic and/or connecting flights if they are on sale through UCHL; (iii) no. 1 Lounge passes; (iv) selected Island Routes tours on sale through UCHL; selected spa treatments; selected resort extras (such as a private candlelit dinner). The Holiday Voucher can be used to purchase flights and accommodation(s) together as a package holiday or to purchase accommodation(s) only. Please note that the Prize Voucher cannot be used to purchase flights without accommodation(s). The winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the Resort(s) for security deposit purposes.

Please note that the Holiday Voucher cannot be redeemed through any third-party tour operators or travel agents, even if the third party sells holidays to Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts. The Holiday Voucher cannot be used for flights or any other transport that is not on sale through UCHL. The Holiday Voucher can only be redeemed through UCHL.

The winner will have to communicate their preferred travel dates and resort(s) to UCHL’s travel agent. The travel agent will provide a quote at that day’s price, which is be final. Please note that pricing is live and subject to change and availability if the booking is not locked in the same day. The booking cannot be held if the winner decides that they do not want to finalise their booking at that time. Full payment is be due at the time of booking when using all or part of the Holiday Voucher as payment. If the value of the booking(s) exceed(s) £15,000, the winner is liable to pay any additional costs at the time of booking or the booking will not be confirmed.

The Holiday Voucher must be used by 1 October 2025 (“Expiry Date”). If the winner doesn’t redeem the Holiday Voucher before the Expiry Date, any remaining funds on the Holiday Voucher will expire and be deemed null and void, and the prize will be deemed forfeited.

The winner must be the lead passenger and must travel on all booking(s) that the Holiday Voucher is redeemed against. There are no restrictions on the number of companion(s) however Sandals Resorts are for adults and couples only and all rooms and suites feature one king sized bed. Beaches Resorts are family friendly and the winner may bring companion(s) under the age of 18 years old. Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize.

Once a booking is confirmed using the Holiday Voucher, there will be an administration fee for any changes made to the reservation. Other charges may apply according to the airline e.g., ticket reissue fees. If the value of the new holiday booked is higher than the original holiday, the winner will be liable to pay the difference. If the value of the new holiday is less than the original holiday, the winner will not be entitled to a refund of the difference.

The winner and their companion(s) must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the chosen country. The winner is responsible for checking the travel and entry protocols for the destination that they are travelling to before they depart and ensuring that they fully understand and comply with any such protocols. For example, some destinations may require all guests to be fully vaccinated and/or to obtain a negative PCR Covid-19 test a certain number of days pre-travel and post travel, to return to your original destination. The winner is responsible for checking the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office website before travel and the official Government website for the country they are visiting for all pre and post travel protocols. UCHL and/orSandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred for any required test or any other pre-travel or post-travel requirements. Particular attention shall be given to https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice prior to entering into the Bonus Prize Draw. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the holiday(s). It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organize and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party, (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by UCHL. UCHL reserves the right to implement or modify health protocols, policies and procedures at any time as needed, in keeping with public health guidance and applicable law.

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

The Holiday Voucher is not transferable and cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash. The Holiday Voucher has no cash and/or refund value. Where the winner cancels their holiday, they may be able to rebook an alternative holiday, subject to availability. The winner will be liable to pay any administration fees, change fees and fare increases.

Please note that Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts each reserves the right to relocate the Prize winner from the selected resort to an alternative resort in the selected resort’s chain prior to taking-up their holiday if the rooms become unavailable for the travel dates booked due to any circumstance beyond the selected resort’s control. Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts each reserves the right to substitute the selected resort for another resort in the selected resort’s chain in a similar category based on availability of space for the secured travel dates, and to change dates without prior notice for any circumstance(s) beyond the selected resort’s control and if such circumstance(s) so require. In the event that UCHL cannot relocate the winner in the same area as the selected resort, UCHL will provide the winner with an alternative holiday in another country. If UCHL has to cancel the winner’s holiday for any reason, UCHL will offer the winner a replacement holiday at the same value as the original holiday.

The Holiday Voucher cannot be used to purchase anything at a Sandals Resorts or a Beaches Resorts including but not limited to items at the Speciality or Gift shops, telephone calls, Red Lane spa treatments or services, tours and excursions, inter island transportation, SCUBA certification courses, island departure taxes, weddings, wine from the manager’s wine list, ground transportation (outside of local airport transfers on the island where the selected or designated resort is located), travel insurance, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees and taxes, tests and vaccination, Visas and ESTAs.

Use of the Holiday Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the select or designated resort as follows:

(together, “UCHL Terms and Conditions”).

These Terms and Conditions apply with equal applicability to any resort, which is the subject of substitution or deviation. Neither UCHL, nor Sandals Resorts and or Beaches Resorts shall be liable for any claim made whatsoever, including but not limited to loss, compensation, or refund by reason of such substitution or deviation.

In the event of any conflict between these Good Morning Britain and Lorraine Terms and Conditions and the UCHL Terms and Conditions, these Good Morning Britain and Lorraine Terms and Conditions shall take precedence to the extent of such conflict.

Please note that only the name and contact email address of the winner will be provided to UCHK. The UK version of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 which is part of UK law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, as supplemented by the Data Protection Act 2018, provides a number of protections for use of personal data. Any personal data collected from the winner and provided to UCHL for redemption purposes shall be subject to UCHL’s privacy policy located at www.sandals.co.uk/general/privacy/. UCHL will only use the personal data of the winner and their companion(s) for the purposes of administrating the prize, unless the winner and their companion(s) provide express consent signifying their agreement to any other processing or use of their personal data. For prize redemption purposes the personal data collected from the winner and their companion(s) will be shared with the UCHL’s reservations affiliate and the resort which are both located outside of the United Kingdom.

The winner agrees and as a condition of possibly being awarded the prize to release and hold harmless UCHL and its affiliated companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, assigns and insurers from and against any and all claims, causes of action and/or liability for any injuries, illness, death, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with receipt or possession, use or misuse of the prize or any element thereof.

UCHL, Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts and/or any of their related entities shall have the right to comply with any and all orders, recommendations, or directions whatsoever given by any government entity or by persons purporting to act with such authority, and such compliance shall not be deemed a breach of any agreement or any agreement entitling the guests to assert any claim for liability, compensation or refund.

Class action waiver: this section provides for the exclusive resolution of disputes through individual legal action and supersedes any law entitling the winner and/or their companion(s) to participate in a class action. This class action waiver precludes the winner and/or their companion(s) from participating in or being represented in any class or representative action regarding any claim brought under as a result of any agreement. Even if applicable law provides otherwise, the winner and/or their companion(s) agree that any arbitration or lawsuit against any entity under the UCHL Group and/or Sandals Resorts whatsoever shall be litigated by the winner and/or their companion(s) individually and not as a member of any class or as part of a class action, and the winner and/or their companion(s) expressly agree to waive authority to arbitrate claims on a class action basis. If the winner’s and/or their companion(s)’ claim is subject to legal proceeding under foreign selection and choice of law provisions of the accommodations, amenities, transportation and other products or services terms and conditions (available here for Sandals Resorts: www.sandals.com/terms-conditions/) and available here for Beaches Resorts: https://www.beaches.com/general/terms/) the winner and/or their companion(s) further agree and acknowledge that the class action waiver is material and essential to the proceeding of any disputes between the parties and is non-severable from the agreement to any claims herein. The validity and effect of this class action waiver may be determined only by a judge or court of law. The winner and/or their companion(s) agree that this section shall not be severable under any circumstances from the forum selection and choice of law provision set forth in the UCHL Terms and Conditions. The winner and/or their companion(s) agree that the parties referenced in foreign selection and choice of law provisions of the UCHL Terms and Conditions that may be the subject of any claim by the winner and/or their companion(s) can receive immediate judicial assistance to enforce this class action waiver.
