I renewed my Now broadband in February for 12 months @£21 pm, with a guaranteed no price rise. Now they have taken £24.50 from my bank insisting it was impossed on them by ofgem. They have said they will lower it to £22pm as I have been a long term customer. But I don't think I should have to pay any more that the £21. They even want a £30 cancellation charge. What can I do?

What communication did you have from them about the price rise? It was announced in May, effective from July. You can normally leave a contract penalty-free when a mid-term price increase is imposed, but if you ignored or missed the notification you may well be past the date where you could have walked away.0 -
