Recently Discovered CCJ

Good Afternoon,
I recently discovered that I have a CCJ issued to my old address. I have read through the many threads on here and still cannot work out where I stand and what is required for me to have the CCJ set aside. The claimant had sent correspondance to my new address and I have evidence in the form of letters to prove this. I am happy to pay the amount in the CCJ and don't care for a dispute over claim if it makes the process easier.

There's not a lot of detail to be going on with in your post. Is the CCJ relating to a parking charge? What were the circumstances of you getting the CCJ? Why do you think you knew nothing about the original claim?
The Newbies/FAQ thread does explain the process for setting aside a CCJ.2 -
It doesn't make it easier and paying it DOES NOT wipe the CCJ - and it removes all your leverage.AllenT1998 said:Good Afternoon,

Just copy the easy examples in the NEWBIES thread section on CCJ set asides.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
