It's £100 cheaper a year....but for some reason I am still on the mindset of stay with the flexible option?!

Well no, based on an estimate of your usage its predicted to be £100 cheaper a year, you need to compare unit rates and standing charges.

Had anyone switched? I'm sure lots of people have.
It's £100 a year cheaper - for you with your usage, compared to the SVT and assuming the SVT doesn't change.
I'm sure you will have seen the other threads on this topic:
    If you want certainty, fix.
If you are happy with the risk of prices rising or falling, stay variable.
If you qualify for one of Octopus's smart tariffs, look at those.
If you feel lucky, consider Agile or Tracker.

Please do share prices rather than some name which means nothing to the great unwashed.

With a unit rate of 7.05p and sc of 27.47p, I fixed my gas for 12 months.

Although I wanted security, I took a gamble with my elec and moved it over to Agile.  At the moment I am quids in.  If things start getting too rough, I will see what fixed or variable they are offering.  My current Agile saving, compared to variable rate, is 54p a day.

Ignore the "get a quote" button, scroll down slightly and enter your postcode. Use the filters to get the type of tariff you're looking for (eg. select domestic rather than business).
You'll be able to see the prices in your region rather than mine.
