Center parcs!

Ok, i'm off to center parcs in just over a month. Hooray. Anywho, i'm staying in the hotel, so no chance in saving money by cooking, bah! Was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of restaurant prices? Oh, i'm staying at elveden!

Thanks. :D

  • In Longleat, they seemed a touch on the high side.

We ate out maybe 3 nights out of seven and cooked for the rest of the time.

However, the shop seemed quite reasonably priced, we did go to tesco and stock up beofre hand, but there honestly wasn't much in it, especially on 'branded' products.

P.S. Have a look round the reception area for '25% off your next holiday' leaflets. We took one and rebooked within 28 days of our holiday (which you must do to qualify) and it saved us 25%, which is awesome. SO we are off their again next april.
  • Just came back from Elveden 2 days ago and to my liking, it is best to cook yourself. Havent been to the restaurants but the cafe (overlooking the swimming pool on the second floor) is reasonably priced, although higher than usual - but thats a tourist place like always. A larger cappuccino would cost you around £2.20.
The shop is ok, but best to go there in the mornings, as some shelves may be empty by the evening. Nice bakery though!
    Have a nice holiday!
  • The bakery at elveden is fantastic. They do a doughbout as big as a dinner plate for £1.99. We bought loads back as pressies! The shop also has a hot food section at the back where you can get sausage rolls, filled rolls, bacon baps etc all at normal high st prices. They also do a whole cooked chicken for £4. We reserved one in the morning and collected it later so we had hot chicken for tea. The restaurants are very expensive, it was £35 for 5 of us to eat, so we only ate out once!

Have a great time, we did.

£35 for 5 - £7 each seems cheap to me - have you missed a '1' off the price? This would reflect the costs we encountered 6 years ago - boil in the bag rubbish for £20+ a head.
