Sainsbury's Savings Account - Balance Refreshing?

Hi all,

Potentially a trivial topic but I'd like to ask; does anyone here have a Sainsbury's savings account and, if you do, does your balance take a very long time to update?

My HSBC and Santander accounts update immediately, but I have transferred my second, regular monthly payment into my Sainsbury's account and several hours later it's still not showing.

I trust the process, but it's still uncomfortable. Am I a special case or is this just normal?

There can be big differences between the speed at which banks and building societies process deposits. Some are virtually instant but others can take anything from 10-20 minutes to a few hours or even the next working day.
