PCN at Vista Centre Hounslow from CPM

Hello,

I have received a PCN through the post from CPM after parking at the Vista Centre in Hounslow. The reason for the PCN is "No Parking Outside Of A Designated Area".

On the day in question, I paid for a parking ticket through the app and left within the allocated time. From the photos that have been uploaded online, I can see that it is being alleged the car was parked outside of the "Red Zone", which is where visitors are allowed to park. At the time this was not clear to me.

I have read through the Newbies Thread which I have found very helpful. I have also searched through other threads involving the Vista Centre parking in Hounslow, none of which paint the Vista Centre or the CPM in a positive light.

I have uploaded the photos and the letter.

My questions are as follows
1. Now that I can see the "Visitor Parking" sign in red and there is supposedly a sign explaining it in a photo they have uploaded, is it worth still appealing?
2. Should I still use the template in the Newbies Thread and if so should I upload evidence of the parking ticket I had paid for through the app?

I can see you've all been very helpful to many on this thread, I hope I have given enough information and done the right things so far.

Thanks

What was the date of the incident? We need to know that in order to make sure that the NtK is PoFA compliant. Whilst they have used the PoFA wording, the dates are important as it has to have been deemed delivered by the 14th after the incident.

Plan A is always to complain to the landowner and write to your MP to get them to intervene. Obviously, their signage is not prominent enough to form a contract. Read the Newbies/FAQ thread to get an idea of where you are and wat needs to be done.

The PCN does state that the vehicle was parked on 23rd August 2023 at 11:42.
The PCN itself is dated just one day later - 24th August 2023.
  • Thank you for your quick responses. I will follow Plan A and complain to the landlord and the local MP.

Could you also please give any further advice on the following questions

    Thanks

Yes do all of that.  There is no question of paying UKCPM.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
